دير مار شليطا - القبيات يقع الدّير في منطقة وادي حلسبان، في الأصل كان البناء معبدًا رومانيًّا للإله بان إله الرعيان والمواشي. حوّله الأهالي إلى كنيسةٍ بيزنطيّة على اسم القدّيس شليطا (أرتاميوس) شفيع الحيوانات والمواشي، إشارةً إلى تحوّلهم من الوثنيّة. بقي الدّير مُهملاً فترةً طويلةً، فآل إلى الخراب. خلال تسعينيّات القرن العشرين رُمّم الدّير، لكنّ الترميم أزال قسمًا كبيرًا من معالمه. أصبح الدّير اليوم مقصدًا للسيّاح ومحجًّا. The monastery of Chalita - Kobayyat The monastery is located in the valley of Helesban. The building was a roman temple dedicated to Pan the god of shepherds. The temple was converted into a church during the byzantine era and was dedicated to St Chalita (Arthemius) the patron saint of animals and heards. After the middle ages, the monastery fell into ruins for along time. The structure was restored in the last decade of the XXth century, yet the restoration destroyed many of the original elements. The monastery became a pilgrimage site.

بنتها عائلة غبريل سنة ١٨٣٥ في حيّ بيت الزعرور. تجدّدت سنة ١٨٧٥ وأعيد تكريسها على يد المطران نعمة الله سلوان سنة ١٩٠٦. في الكنيسة لوحتين مريميّتين الأولى هي العذراء المرضعة لداوود القرم تعود لسنة ١٨٨٢، والثانية أقدم عهدًا غير موقعة. ولوحة لمار الياس عمل حبيب سرور سنة ١٨٨٨، وأخرى لمار يوسف بلا توقيع.

The church of our Lady of the Milk - Beit Chabab

The church was built by the Ghobril family in 1835 in the area known as Beit el Zaarour. In 1875 it was renewed and reconsecrated by Bishop Nematullah Selwan in 1906. The church holds two marian paintings: the first by Dawoud El Qorm from 1882 representing the breastfeeding mother, the second one is older and not signed. It also contains a painting of St Joseph not signed, with another of St Elias by Habib Srour from 1888.

كنيسة سيّدة الغابة - بيت شباب

بنُيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن السابع عشر، واعتنى بإعادة بنائها آل الحايك مرّتين سنة ١٧٧٢ و١٧٧٣. خُرّبت أثناء حملة إبراهيم باشا فأعاد ترميمها الأمير حيدر أبي اللمع سنة ١٨٤٠. أخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. في الكنيسة عدّة لوحات أهمّها اللوحة القديمة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، كان قد رسم فوقها كنعان ديب لوحة أخرى لم تعد موجودة سنة ١٨٣٩ وقد جرّحها فارسٌ درزيّ في أحداث ١٨٦٠، وقد نُقلت عنها لوحة لحبيب سرور تعود لسنة ١٩١٩.
The church of Our Lady of the Forest - Beit Chabeb

The church was first built in the XVIIth century, then rebuilt by the Hayek family in 1726 and 1773. It was damaged during the campaign of Mehmet Ali Pasha and restored by Prince Haidar Abi Ll Lamah in 1840. It took its final shape in year 1900, and then restored 90 years later. The church holds many paintings the most important ones being the old XVIth century icon of the Madona, that was covered by another painting by Kanaan Dib drawn in year 1839 that is no longer present. This painting was attacked by a Druze knight in the war of 1860. Habib Srour drew a copy of it in 1919.

طحنيش بنى الموارنة الكنيسة مع قدومهم إلى البلدة سنة ١٧٠٥، وهي أقدم كنيسة مارونيّة في البقاع الغربيّ. الكنيسة صغيرة كناية عن سوقٍ واحد مسقوفة. سقف الكنيسة بغداديّ. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحةٍ للسيّدة منقولة عن موريللو تعود لأربعينات القرن العشرين. مع بداية القرن الحاليّ رُمّمت الكنيسة ورُسم على السقف لوحات تجريديّة.

The church of Our Lady of Assumption - Deir Tahnish

The maronites built the church in 1705 when they came to the village. It is the oldest maronite church in the West Bekaa region. The structure consists of a small single roofed nave. The church holds a painting copied from Murillo’s Immaculate conception dating back to the forties. The church was renovated in the last decade and the roof was decorated with abstract frescoes.
