دير مار شليطا - القبيات يقع الدّير في منطقة وادي حلسبان، في الأصل كان البناء معبدًا رومانيًّا للإله بان إله الرعيان والمواشي. حوّله الأهالي إلى كنيسةٍ بيزنطيّة على اسم القدّيس شليطا (أرتاميوس) شفيع الحيوانات والمواشي، إشارةً إلى تحوّلهم من الوثنيّة. بقي الدّير مُهملاً فترةً طويلةً، فآل إلى الخراب. خلال تسعينيّات القرن العشرين رُمّم الدّير، لكنّ الترميم أزال قسمًا كبيرًا من معالمه. أصبح الدّير اليوم مقصدًا للسيّاح ومحجًّا. The monastery of Chalita - Kobayyat The monastery is located in the valley of Helesban. The building was a roman temple dedicated to Pan the god of shepherds. The temple was converted into a church during the byzantine era and was dedicated to St Chalita (Arthemius) the patron saint of animals and heards. After the middle ages, the monastery fell into ruins for along time. The structure was restored in the last decade of the XXth century, yet the restoration destroyed many of the original elements. The monastery became a pilgrimage site.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير - الزغرين

سنة ١٨٧٦ طلب الرهبان الحلبيّين في دير مار الياس شويّا من المطران يوسف جعجع بناء كنيسةٍ لشركائهم، فأذن لهم وبنوا الكنيسة سنة ١٨٧٧. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب ينتهي بحنية. تضم الكنيسة لوحتين تعودان لأواخر القرن التاسع عشر: مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب، ومار أنطونيوس الكبير من عمل داوود القرم.

The church of St Anthony the Great - Zaghrine

In 1876 the Aleppan monks living in the monastery of St Elias Shwaya asked Mgr Youssef Geagea a permission to build a church for their monastery’s surfs living in Zeghrine. After the permission was given, construction began and ended a year later. The church is a cross vaulted structure. It holds two paintings from the end of the XIXth century: St Joseph by Kanaan Dib and St Anthony by Daoud el Qorm.

كابيلّا الشهيدة أكويلينا - جبيل

القدّيسة أكويلينا شهيدة من مدينة جبيل استشهدت فيها بعمر اثنتي عشر سنة، سنة ٢٩٣. دُفِنَت ذخائرها خارج مدينة جبيل، في المزار المُشيَّد على اسمها والواقع على تلّة قصّوبا شرقيّ المدينة بحسب المستشرق ارنست رينان. رسم لوحتها سمعان سمعان المصوّر المعروف بسمعان سارة أواخر سنة ١٩٥٣ بسعي الأب أنطونيوس زغيب الذي نشر إكرام القدّيسة. الكابيلّا بنيت أيّام رئاسة الأب يوحنّا وهبه على أنطوش جبيل في سوق جبيل القديم، سنة ١٩٨٢. وهو مزارها في قلب المدينة ومحجًّا لطلب شفاعتها.

The Chapel of St Aquilina - Byblos

St Aquilina is a twelve year old martyr from Byblos who died in 293. Her relics were buried in a small shrine on the hill of Qassouba in the vicinity of the city according to the orientalist Ernest Renan. The painting is the work of Semaan Semaan also known as Semaan Sara dating back to 1953, commissioned by Fr Antonios Zgheib who promulgated the devotion to the saint. The chapel was built when Fr Youhanna Wehbe was the rector of Byblos’s presbytery in 1982. The chapel is a pilgrimage site to all those seeking the martyr’s intercession.

Built in 1660, the church played a great role in the history of the village, near it a school was built, and it was the main parish church before that of our Lady was built in the nineteenth century.
The church houses a collection of oil paintings dating back to the construction era: St George, an Immaculata, St Mamas, St Peter.
In the church’s sacristy are found the mortal remains of Fr. Gerges Srour 1688-1735, a holy priest with the title Al Qurbany, (the Eucharistic) because of his great devotion to the blessed sacrament and the great miracles that happened during elevation time in his Mass as attested by witnesses.


يعود البناء الى سنة ١٦٦٠. لعبت هذه الكنيسة دورًا هامًا في تاريخ البلدة اذ كانت الكنيسة الرعائية قبل بناء كنيسة السيذة. بقربها كانت تقوم مدرسة للأحداث. تحوي زيتيات تعود لفترة البناء: مار جرجس، السيدة، مار ماما، مار بطرس.
يرقد على رجاء القيامة في سكرستية الكنيسة رجل الله الخوري جرجس سرور ١٦٨٨-١٧٣٥، والمعروف بكراماته وعجائبه وعبادته للقربان الأقدس إذ كان وجه المسيح يظهر على القربانة عند الرفعة كما شهد معاصروه.
